I just got back from London, and I wanted to share something with you while it’s still fresh.
When I arrived at my hotel in the evening, the woman at reception welcomed me in such a beautiful way. She had someone bring me a pot of chamomile tea … proper British style. I felt so cared for after a long day of travel.
I sat down, the driver brought in my bag, and she was quietly getting everything ready for check-in.
And then she looked up at me, slightly hesitating as she spoke …
“When I saw your name this morning on the list of arrivals, I thought my colleague was playing a joke on me.”
My eyes widened, “Really, why?”
“Because I’ve been watching your videos for years. I actually thought there was no way this was real.”
She paused for a moment and then added that she’s been wanting to step into coaching herself, but has been holding herself back.
And honestly… that moment filled my heart so deeply and has stayed with me.
Because I was sitting there thinking how strange and beautiful it is … we sit behind screens, we create, we speak into cameras, we share our work… and we often forget there are real people on the other side of it.
People we may never expect to meet.
And suddenly there she was.
Not just watching, but living, breathing, deciding what she wants next for her life.
And then as I’m encouraging her to go for her coaching dream, she asks for my passport and does a double take, “Oh my God…”
“What is it?”
She smiles as she reaches for her ID to show me, “We have the same birthday. March 31st!”
We had both just had birthdays recently so I wish her a happy birthday. We laugh and I affirm that this is how the Universe works … using synchronicity as a cosmic highlighter to make sure you don’t miss the message.
And for a moment, it felt like one of those small, quiet intersections in life where everything slows down just enough for you to remember how miraculous it is to be alive.
It was such a beautiful way to arrive.
And I left thinking about something I can’t stop coming back to lately:
There is nothing more meaningful than being fully expressed in your work … and seeing it reach people in ways you could never plan for.
No performing. No forcing. No shrinking.
Just you… and the impact of what you’re here to share.
And I wanted to share this with you because if you’ve been feeling that pull toward being more visible, more expressed, more fully in your authentic leadership…
I’m hosting a free live workshop called UNDIMMED.
It’s an empowering space where I’ll be sharing what it actually takes to stop dimming yourself…
and step into self-assured, soul-centered leadership in your work and life.
